The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options to choose from. The lounge and bar areas had beautiful sea views and were the perfect place to relax. My room was well equipped and had a modern look and feel. The view from the hotel terrace and the sushi restaurant was stunning. The parking facilities were convenient and the bedroom and common areas were very clean. I would recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

There was enough personnel, so always a person available to answer questions.
The staff was lacking an experienced person at the reception to coach the rest

During our Easter stay, we thoroughly enjoyed the two continental breakfasts that were served in our room. It was a convenient and delicious way to start our day. the location of the hotel was superb, right by the waterfront boulevard. We loved taking leisurely walks along the promenade and enjoying the beautiful views. The free parking behind the hotel was another advantage that made our stay hassle-free.

We had an amazing experience at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location is nice, right next to the sea, providing fantastic views over the river Schelde from our room. The hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and nicely decorated. The room was spacious and comfortable, offering all the necessary amenities like air conditioning, a mini-bar, and a sitting area. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction and even provided a welcome drink upon arrival. The incredible hospitality shown by the Dutch in this province was evident here, with friendly and helpful staff greeting us with a smile at all times.
We would definitely recommend this place to our friends. It is a true gem that offers a comfortable and luxurious stay with breathtaking views and exceptional service.

We had a very pleasant stay in a long time. The hotel was luxurious and clean with stunning views of the beach and the sea. The staff helped us and were decent and helpful. The location of the venue was exceptionally nice and perfect - approx 10-15 minutes' walk from Reptile Zoo Iguana. You could walk to a bakery and a supermarket.

We have very good connections to the area and love to walk the beaches and the dunes.
It is irritating to pay for a higher end hotel and still have to pay a fee for wireless access. That should be included.

Wow! Great ocean view, super breakfast-mix of English and Continental, something for everyone. Cool bar, lounge, and restaurant. Staff are typically wonderful Dutch friendly folks. Everybody loved our 4-year old. Thumbs up! Will definitely try to stay here again.
Not the hotel, but the dude at 1030 Sunday checkout - I stood behind him for 25 minutes before I bailed and moved to the other line - he went line-by-line on 3 separate room bills, and then, when we all thought he was finished, started asking for directions & maps! The poor hotel reception clerk was giving us the 'what can I do? I have to be polite.' sign with her eyes. Nice work on her part; everyone in line with me wanted to toss this guy into the ocean!

The location of the hotel was perfect, right on the boulevard with a beautiful view. Parking was super convenient and free of charge.
There were some negative aspects of our stay. Communication with the hotel before our arrival was not smooth, and there were issues with our dinner reservation.

Very good location, free parking space behind hotel. Very close to nice local cinema. Decent breakfast but no fresh coffee.
No wireless and coffee/tea in the room, for a hotel with 4 stars in 2011, this is the least I expect. The room felt a bit small for the price. Information brochures in the room were limited (no room service menu)
